Dear Mary, my holy mother, I love you so much and I give you my heart. Help me to love God. Help me to love my neighbor as a child of God. Help me to love myself as a child of God. Amen

September 13, 2016

My loving Jesus, out of the grateful love I bear You, and to make reparation for my unfaithfulness to grace, I give You my heart, and I consecrate myself wholly to You; and with Your help I purpose to sin no more. Amen.

Mother of Perpetual Help, you know so well the value of an immortal soul. For every soul has been redeemed by the precious Blood of your Divine Son. Hear my prayer as I plead for the conversion of a sinner, one who is quickly heading for eternal ruin. I know that you are the refuge of sinners. I know also that God has given you the power to bring about the conversion of even the most hardened sinner. Until now, nothing has been successful in changing this person's sinful way of life. Obtain from your Son the grace of conversion. Merciful Mother, you have brought about the conversion of many sinners through the prayers of their relatives and friends. Listen to my prayer and bring about a true conversion for this unhappy soul. Mother of Perpetual Help, show that you really are the Refuge of Sinners.

Oh dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I give You my whole heart. I see Your Heart on fire for love of me. I want to be in this fiery furnace and know the love of God. Take me, Jesus. Use me as Your little servant to spread Your love to this world. I give myself entirely to You and I ask the Holy Spirit to make me more like You. I want to be a little child of the Father. I give You my heart, keep me in Your Heart and teach me Your way of love. Amen

September 10, 2016

Dear God, give me courage, for perhaps I lack it more than anything else. I need courage before men against their threats and against their seductions. I need courage to bear unkindness, mockery, contradiction. I need courage to fight against the devil, against terrors and troubles, temptations, attractions, darkness and false lights, against tears, depression, and above all fear. I need Your help, dear God. Strengthen me with Your love and Your grace. Console me with Your blessed Presence and grant me the courage to persevere until I am with You forever in heaven.

Almighty God, bless our nation and make it true to the ideas of freedom and justice and brotherhood for all who make it great. Guard us from war, from fire and wind, from compromise, fear, confusion. Be close to our president and our statesmen; give them vision and courage, as they ponder decisions affecting peace and the future of the world. Make me more deeply aware of my heritage; realizing not only my rights but also my duties and responsibilities as a citizen. Make this great land and all its people know clearly Your will, that they may fulfill the destiny ordained for us in the salvation of the nations, and the restoring of all things in Christ. Amen

September 8, 2016

Lord Jesus, merciful Savior of the world, we humbly beseech You by Your Most Sacred Heart, that all the straying sheep may turn to You, the Shepherd and Bishop of their souls: Who live and reign world without end. Amen.

September 7, 2016

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus, I love You so much and I give You my heart. Help me to love God. Help me to love my neighbor as a child of God. Help me to love myself as a child of God. Amen

September 6, 2016

On my knees before the great multitude of heavenly witnesses, I offer myself soul and body to You, Eternal Spirit of God. I adore the brightness of Your purity, the unerring keenness of Your justice, and the might of Your love. You are the Strength and Light of my soul. In You I live and move and am. I desire never to grieve You by unfaithfulness to grace, and I pray with all my heart to be kept from the smallest sin against You. Mercifully guard my every thought and grant that I may always watch for Your light and listen to Your voice and follow Your gracious inspirations. I cling to You and give myself to You and ask You by Your compassion to watch over me in my weakness. Holding the pierced Feet of Jesus and looking at His Five Wounds and trusting in His Precious Blood and adoring His opened Side and stricken Heart, I implore Your Adorable Spirit, helper of my infirmity, so to keep me in Your grace that I may never sin against You. Give me grace O Holy Ghost, Spirit of the Father and the Son, to say to You always and everywhere, "Speak Lord, for Your servant hears." Amen.

September 5, 2016

Oh Immaculate Heart of Mary, I give you my heart. I want to love you. I want to love Jesus, the Father, the Holy Spirit, and this world through your holy heart. My dear mother, I place myself in your heart, I know you will care for me in all my needs. I give myself to you, Mary, my mother. I love you so much! Amen

Lord,
 Jesus
 Christ,
Carpenter
of
Nazareth,
 You
were
 a
worker
 as
I
am.
 Give
 me,
and
 all
 workers,
 the
privilege
 To
 work
as
You
did,

 so
 that
everything
we
do
 will
 be
 to
 the
greater
glory
of
God,

 and
the
benefit
of
our
fellow
men.

 May
Your
 kingdom
 come
into
our
 offices,

 our
factories
 and
 shops,

 into
 our
homes
and
 into
our
 streets.
 Give
 us
this
day
a
living
wage,

 so
 that
we
may
be
able
to
keep
Your
 law.
 May
 we
earn
 it
without
envy
or
injustice.

 To
us
 who
labor
and
are
heavily
 burdened, send
speedily

 the
 refreshment
 of
Your
love.
 May
 we
 never
 sin
 against
You.

 Show
 us
 Your
 way to
 work,

 and
 when
our
work
here
 is
 done,

 may
we,
with
 all
 our
 fellow
 workers,

 rest
 in
 peace.
 Amen.

O Jesus Christ, I acknowledge You as universal King. All that has been made, has been created for You. Exercise all Your rights over me. I renew my baptismal vows, renouncing Satan, his pomps and his works; and I promise to live as a good Christian. In particular I pledge myself to labor, to the best of my ability, for the triumph of the rights of God and Your Church. Divine Heart of Jesus, to You I offer my poor services, laboring that all hearts may acknowledge Your Sacred Kingship, and that the reign of Your peace be established throughout the whole universe. Amen.

September 2, 2016

Lord, give us all the courage we need to go the way you shepherd us, that when you call we may go unfrightened. If you bid us come to you across the waters, that we may not be frightened as we go. And if you bid us climb the hill, may we not notice that it is a hill, mindful only of the happiness of your company. You made us for yourself, that we should travel with you and see you at last in your unveiled beauty in the abiding city, where you are light and happiness and endless home.

Illness and age can take their toll and energy is depleted. That means that good things may still be done but perhaps a bit slow and not as great as one may wish. Give me the insight to accept limitations while still maintaining the inner spark of life and love. Amen – Columban Fr. John Comiskey

August 31, 2016

Christ, the only-begotten Son of the unbegotten Father, who this day was slain for us, the innocent for the ungodly, remember the price of Your Blood and blot out the sins of all Your people; and as You are pleased to endure for us reproaches, spitting, bonds, blows, the scourge, the Cross, the nails, the bitter cup, death, the spear, and lastly burial, save us wretched ones, for whom You suffered this, the infinite blessedness of the heavenly kingdom, that we who bow down in reverence for Your Passion may be raised up to things heavenly in the joys of Your resurrection. Amen.
