Almighty God, I thank You for your past blessings.
Today I offer myself - whatever I do, say, or think -
to Your loving care.
Continue to bless me, Lord.
I make this morning offering in union
with the divine intentions of Jesus Christ
who offers himself daily in the holy sacrifice of the Mass,
and in union with Mary, his Virgin Mother and our Mother,
who was always the faithful handmaid of the Lord.

Amen.

As we near the end of this Year,
when you, O Mother, have offered us Jesus anew,
the blessed fruit of your womb most pure,
the Word made flesh, the world's Redeemer,
we hear more clearly the sweet echo of his words
entrusting us to you, making you our Mother:
When he entrusted to you the Apostle John,
and with him the children of the Church and all people,
Christ did not diminish but affirmed anew
the role which is his alone as the Savior of the world.
You are the splendor which in no way dims the light of Christ,
for you exist in him and through him.
You are the Immaculate One,
through you there shines the fullness of grace.
Here, then, are your children, gathered before you.
We seek refuge in your motherly protection
and trustingly beg your intercession
as we face the challenges which lie hidden in the future.

November 6, 2019

O Mother, you know the sufferings
and hopes of the Church and the world:
come to the aid of your children in the daily trials
which life brings to each one,
and grant that, thanks to the efforts of all,
the darkness will not prevail over the light.
To you, Dawn of Salvation, we commit
our journey through the new Millennium,
so that with you as guide
all people may know Christ,
the light of the world and its only Savior,
who reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit
for ever and ever.

Amen.

O Mary, more beautiful than all creatures,
lovely after Jesus above all loves,
more dear than all created things,
gracious above every grace,
pity this miserable heart of mine;
miserable because it does not love you;
and it ought to love you.
Inflame my heart with your holy love.
Turn, O Mary, your loving eyes upon me;
look at me, and draw me to you;
and grant that after God I may love no other but you,
most gracious, most amiable Mary,
Mother of Jesus, and my Mother.

Almighty God, You have generously made known to human beings
the mysteries of Your life
through Jesus Christ Your Son in the Holy Spirit.
Enlighten my mind to know these mysteries
which Your Church treasures and teaches.
Move my heart to love them
and my will to live according to them.
Give me the ability to teach this Faith to others without pride,
without ostentation, and without personal gain.
Let me realize that I am simply Your instrument
for bringing others to the knowledge of the wonderful things
You have done for all Your creatures.
Help me to be faithful to this task
that You have entrusted to me.

Amen.

Eternal God,
Bless Your Church with holy and faithful priests,
deacons, brothers and sisters.

Give those You have called to the married state
and those You have chosen to live as single persons in the world,
the special graces that their lives require.

Form us all in the likeness of Your Son so that in him,
with him and through him
we may love You more deeply and serve You more faithfully,
always and everywhere.

With Mary we ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Almighty and eternal God, in Your fatherly goodness,
be kind to the souls in Purgatory, especially those
of my relatives, benefactors, friends and enemies.
Cleanse them of their faults, lift them up to Heaven,
and give them a share of Eternal Delight in Your Kingdom.
God, creator and savior of all the faithful,
forgive all the sins of all Your servants’ souls.
Let them receive forgiveness through our prayers,
for which they have always been yearning.
For this we prayer through Jesus, Our Lord.

Amen.

Dear holy saints of God,
we join our prayers of praise
to yours this day.
with you, we sing of God’s goodness,
rejoice in God’s mercy
and celebrate God’s incredible love.
Teach us to live as you lived --
always thinking of others,
always recognizing our weaknesses,
always rejoicing in God’s gifts,
always closely following Jesus.
Blessed are you, happy are you,
all you holy saints of God.
Pray for us that we, too,
may someday be among God’s Holy Ones.

Amen.

All praise and glory are Yours, almighty Father:
You have given us Your Son Jesus to save us from sin.
We praise You for choosing Mary to be His mother,
for teaching her to believe Your message,
for helping her to accept Your holy will.

Strengthen us by Your Spirit to be like Mary:
to ponder Your word in our hearts,
to obey Your will,
to love Your Son,
to sing Your praises every day.

Father,
we praise You through Jesus Christ Your Son
in the love of Your Spirit,
forever and ever.

Amen.

Hail, O Queen of Heaven enthroned!
Hail, by angels Mistress owned
Root of Jesse, Gate of morn,
When the world's true Light was born.

Glorious Virgin, joy to thee,
Loveliest whom in Heaven they see:
Fairest thou where all are fair,
Plead with Christ our sins to spare.

October 29, 2019

Hail, thou star of ocean!
portal of the sky!
Ever virgin Mother
of the Lord Most High!

Oh! by Gabriel's Ave,
Uttered long ago
Eva's name reversing,
'Stablished peace below.

Break the captives' fetters;
Light on blindness pour,
All our ills expelling,
every bliss implore.

Show thyself a Mother,
Offer Him our sighs,
Who for us incarnate
Did not You despise.

Virgin of all virgins!
To Your shelter take us;
Gentlest of the gentle!
Chase and gentle make us.

Still as on we journey
Help our weak endeavor;
Till with You and Jesus
We rejoice forever.

Through the highest heaven,
To the Almighty Three,
Father, Son and Spirit,
One same glory be.

Amen.

October 28, 2019

O God, Who, through Your blessed Apostles Simon and Jude,
have brought us to the knowledge of Your name,
grant that we may celebrate their everlasting glory
by advancing in good works,
and that we may advance in good works by celebrating their glory.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who lives and reigns with You,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
world without end.

Amen.

O Lord our God,
You alone are the Most Holy King and Ruler of all nations.
We pray to You, Lord,
in the great expectation of receiving from You,
O Divine King, mercy, peace, justice and all good things.
Protect, O Lord our families and the land of our birth.
Guard us we pray Most Faithful One.
Protect us from our enemies and from Your Just Judgment
Forgive us, O Sovereign King, our sins against you.
Jesus, You are a King of Mercy.
We have deserved Your Just Judgment
Have mercy on us, Lord, and forgive us.
We trust in Your Great Mercy.
O most awe-inspiring King, we bow before You and pray;
May Your Reign, Your Kingdom, be recognized on earth.

Amen.

October 26, 2019

All praise to You, O God, this night
For all the blessings of the light;
Keep us, we pray, O King of kings,
Beneath Your own almighty wings.

Forgive us, Lord, through Christ your Son,
Whatever wrong this day we've done;
Your peace give to the world, O Lord,
That we might live in one accord.

Enlighten us, O blessed Light,
and give us rest throughout this night.
O strengthen us, that for Your sake,
We all may serve You when we wake.

October 25, 2019

All you holy angels and archangels,
thrones and dominations,
principalities and powers,
the virtues of Heaven,
cherubim and seraphim,
praise the Lord forever.

Amen.
