O Immaculate Queen of Heaven and Earth,
Mother of God and Mediator of every grace:
I believe that thy dearly beloved Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ,
is truly, really, and substantially
contained in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

I love Him above all things
and I long to receive Him into my heart.
At times when I cannot receive Him sacramentally,
be so good as to place Him spiritually in my soul.

O my Jesus,
I embrace You as One who has already come,
and I unite myself entirely to You:
never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

O Mary, Mother of Mercy,
watch over all people,
that the Cross of Christ
may not be emptied of its power,
that man may not stray from the path of the good
or become blind to sin,
but may put his hope ever more
fully in God who is rich in mercy
May he carry out the good works
prepared by God beforehand
and so live completely
for the praise of his glory.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Never let me be separated from you.
From the malignant enemy, defend me.
At the hour of death, call me;
and bid me come to you.
That with your saints I may praise you
forever and ever.

Amen.

Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries
of the universe in relation to eternity.

Spirit of right judgment and courage,
guide us and make us firm in our baptismal decision
to follow Jesus' way of love.

Spirit of knowledge and reverence,
help us to see the lasting value of justice
and mercy in our everyday dealings with one another.

May we respect life
as we work to solve problems of family and nation,
economy and ecology.

Spirit of God,
spark our faith,
hope and love into new action each day.

Fill our lives with wonder and awe
in your presence which penetrates all creation.

Amen.

Sacred Heart of Jesus
today I wish to live in You,
in Your grace,
in which I desire at all costs to persevere.
Keep me from sin
and strengthen my will by helping me to keep watch over my senses,
my imagination, and my heart.
Help me to correct my faults which are the source of sin.
I beg You to do this,
O Jesus, through Mary,
Your Immaculate Mother.

O merciful Jesus!
For the salvation of mankind,
You did submit to the suffering of the scourging
and crowning with thorns;
You did allow Yourself to be dragged
by impious hands on these stairs
to be led before Pilate.
I desire to venerate with deep respect
the bloodstained traces of Your Divine feet,
and I humbly beg You,
by the merits of Your Passion,
to grant, that I may one day
ascend to the Throne of Glory,
where You live and reign
with the Father and the Holy Ghost
forever and ever.

Amen.

Almighty God, whose hands hold all matters of life,
give me grace of success in the work that I do.
Help me to give it the careful thought
and the strict attention that will lead to success.
Watch over me and govern my actions,
that I may not mar its perfection.
Show me how to give my best,
and let me not despise the toil that is necessary to complete it.
Make my life a successful one,
in that every duty you give to me,
I do it well.
Give me the blessing of your help and guidance,
and suffer me not to fail.
In Jesus' name.

Amen.

November 27, 2017

Dear Jesus, focus of my life,
I humbly come to You,
seeking Your refuge and protection
for my loved ones and myself
against the ravages of illness and disease.
Stop their advances against all people.
I ask this through Your Mother,
the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Thank you Jesus;
May Your Name be praised forever!

Amen.

Most Holy Virgin and Mother,
your soul was pierced by a sword of sorrow
in the passion of your divine Son,
and in His glorious resurrection,
you were filled with unending joy in His triumph!
Obtain for us who call upon you,
to be such partakers in the adversities of holy Church
and in the sorrows of the Sovereign Pontiff
as to be found worthy to rejoice
with them in the consolations for which we pray,
in the charity and peace of the same Christ our Lord.

Amen.

November 25, 2017

God of all consolation,
in your unending love and mercy for us,
you turn the darkness of death into the dawn of new life.
Show compassion to your people in sorrow.
Be our refuge and our strength to lift us
from the darkness of this grief
to peace and joy in your presence.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.

November 24, 2017

Heavenly Father,
We ask You today for Your truth,
As a belt tight around our waists.

We put on the zeal,
To announce Your good news of peace,
As shoes for our feet.

We put on Your righteousness,
O Christ, as our breastplate.
And the hope of salvation,
As a helmet for our head.

Father we take up faith,
As a shield which is able to put out,
All the fiery darts of the enemy.

And the sword of the Spirit,
Which is Your Word, O Lord.

Father may the love,
With which You have loved Jesus,
Be in us and may Jesus be in us.

We ask You for the grace,
Of a servant heart.

Amen.

November 23, 2017

Father all-powerful,
Your gifts of love are countless
and Your goodness infinite.
On Thanksgiving Day we come before You
with gratitude for Your kindness:
open our hearts to concern for our fellow men and women,
so that we may share Your gifts in loving service.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

November 22, 2017

May the grace and blessing of the Sacred Heart be with you,
The peace of the Sacred Heart encompass you;
The merits of the Sacred Heart plead for you;
The love of the Sacred Heart inflame you;
The sorrows of the Sacred Heart console you;
The zeal of the Sacred Heart animate you;
The virtues of the Sacred Heart shine forth in your word and work;
And may the joys of the beatific vision be your eternal reward.

Amen.

O Mary of all women,
you are the chosen one,
Who, ancient prophets promised,
would bear God’s only Son;
All Hebrew generations
prepared the way to thee,
That in your womb the God-man
might come to set us free.

O Mary, you embody
all God taught to our race,
For you are first and foremost
in fullness of his grace;
We praise this wondrous honor
that you gave birth to Him
Who from you took humanity
and saved us from our sin.

November 20, 2017

O Lord, sometimes, my pride gets in the way,
Nevertheless, You will not stop trying to teach me humility.
I do not always practice rigorous honesty in my life,
Still, You continue to show me the value of honesty.
I may be experiencing spiritual dryness,
Yet, when I make an effort to talk to You,
You hear my every request, praise and thanksgiving.
Although I sin,
You keep the door of reconciliation open for me.

I may not make the attempt to get to know You better, as often as I should,
Even still, you keep the opportunity available to me.
I may fall short of serving you Lord,
However, You are constantly providing for me.
While I may not always show my love towards You.
You love me unconditionally. Amen.
