Remember, O most pure spouse
of the Virgin Mary,
my beloved Patron,
that never it has been heard
that anyone invoked your patronage
and sought your aid
without being comforted.
Inspired by this confidence I come to you
and fervently commend myself to you.
Despise not my petition,
O dearest foster father of our Redeemer,
but accept it graciously.

Amen.

O Most Holy Virgin Mother,
we listen with grief to the complaints
of your Immaculate Heart
surrounded with the thorns placed therein
at every moment by the blasphemies
and ingratitude of ungrateful humanity.
We are moved by the ardent desire of loving you as Our Mother
and of promoting a true devotion to your Immaculate Heart.

May 5, 2017

Holy Mary, my patron,
I ask you to pray for me to Jesus your son.
Through your constant prayers,
may God continue to guide my paths
and help me to follow Jesus in love.

Holy Mary,
pray for me
and for all the people of God.

Amen.

Inspire us, O God, with a love of all men,
and especially for those who suffer and are persecuted;
teach us to go in Your name,
as Christ-bearers, to bring love where there is hate,
light of Christian principles where there is darkness of error;
help us for Your honor and Glory to renew the face of the earth.
Enable us never to flinch where truth and justice are assailed.
May we serve You by prayer and good works
by bringing into every phase of private and public life
the only truth that can make me free,
the only love that embraces all mankind,
the only peace that will last through the eternal ages.

Be so kind as to heed our fervent prayer,
almighty God, that we,
Your sons and daughters,
despite our many weaknesses and failures,
may be found worthy instruments of Your peace and messengers of Your love,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

O Mary, Mother of God
As You are above all creatures
in Heaven and Earth,
more glorious than the Cherubim,
more noble than any here below,
Christ has given You to His people,
firm bulwark and Protectress,
to shield and save sinners who fly unto You.
Therefore O Lady,
all embracing refuge,
we solemnly recall Your sweet protection,
and beg Christ forever for His mercy.

Amen

O God, on this day,
dedicated through long centuries to the honoring of Mary,
Mother of Your Divine Son,
look down upon us Your children gathered here,
and upon the millions of others
who are also assembling in unnumbered other places throughout America,
to pray for the people of Russia
and for all those in countries under the influence of Communism.
We pray that all these,
our brothers and sisters in Christ,
now dominated by the opponents of the Savior,
may soon enjoy the full freedom
to exercise those human rights and personal liberties
that come from You and You alone.

O God, Who has given us a royal priesthood, we beseech You,
that as Blessed Joseph was found worthy
to touch with his hands,
and to bear in his arms,
Your only-begotten Son,
born of the Virgin Mary,
so may we be made fit,
by cleanness of heart and blamelessness of life,
to minister at Your holy altar; may we, this day,
with reverent devotion partake of the Sacred Body and Blood
of Your Only-begotten Son,
and may we in the world to come
be accounted worthy of receiving an everlasting reward.
Through the same Christ our Lord.

Amen.

April 29, 2017

O most blessed Virgin Mary,
mother most loving and most merciful,
I, a miserable and unworthy sinner come before you,
with the heartfelt prayer,
that of your loving kindness
you would grant graciously to be near me
and all who throughout the whole Church
are to receive the body and blood of your Son this day,
even as you were near your most dear Son
as He hung bleeding on the cross,
that, aided by your gracious help,
we may worthily offer up a pure and acceptable sacrifice
in the sight of the holy and undivided Trinity.

Amen.

April 28, 2017

Mindful then, O Lord,
of Your worshipful Passion,
I approach Your Altar,
sinner though I am,
to join in the offering to You
that Sacrifice which You have instituted
to be offered in remembrance of You for our well-being.
Receive it, I ask You,
O God most High,
for Your holy Church,
and for the people who You have purchased with Your own Blood.
Let not, through my unworthiness,
waste the price of their salvation,
whose saving Victim and Redemption You granted.

April 27, 2017

For You have mercy upon all, O Lord,
and hate nothing that You have made.
Remember how frail our nature is,
and that You are our Father and our God.
Do not be angry with us forever,
and do not shut Your tender mercies in displeasure.
For it is not for our just works
that we present our prayers before Your face,
but for the multitude of Your tender mercies.
Take away from us, O Lord, our iniquities,
and mercifully kindle in us the fire of Your Holy Spirit.
Take away from us the heart of stone,
and give us a heart of flesh,
a heart to love and adore You,
a heart to delight in, to follow, and to enjoy You.
And we ask Your mercy, O Lord,
that You will look down graciously upon Your family,
as it pays its vows to Your most holy name;
and that the desire of none may be in vain,
and the petitions of none unfulfilled,
do You inspire our prayers,
that they may be such as You delight to hear and answer.

Amen

April 26, 2017

Remember, O Good Saint Anne,
whose name means grace and mercy,
that never was it know
that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help,
and sought your intercession,
was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,
I come before you,
sinful and sorrowful.
Holy mother of the Immaculate Virgin Mary,
and loving grandmother of the Saviour,
do not reject my appeal,
but hear me and answer my prayer.

Amen.

April 25, 2017

Merciful God,
we thank you for food and drink
transformed into energy and life
and for sorrow changed into joy.
Through your Holy Spirit
shine into our hearts
so that what is hopeless within us
may be startled with promise
and what is dead within us
may be resurrected through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

April 24, 2017

O God,
the Shepherd and Ruler of all the faithful,
in Your mercy look down upon Your servant, Pope Francis,
whom You have hast appointed to preside over Your Church,
and grant we beseech You
that both by word and example
he may edify those who are under his charge;
so that, with the flock entrusted to him,
he may attain life everlasting.
Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

April 23, 2017

May Christ Who was crucified for your sake
free you from excruciating pain.
May Christ Who died for you
free you from the death that never ends.
May Christ the Son of the living God,
set you in the ever green loveliness of His Paradise,
and may He, the true Shepherd
recognize you as one of His own.
May you see your Redeemer face to face
and standing in His presence forever,
may you see with joyful eyes
Truth revealed in all its fullness.

Amen.

April 22, 2017

O God, enlarge within us the sense of
fellowship with all living things,
our brothers the animals to whom You
gave the earth as their home in
common with us.

We remember with shame that in the past
we have exercised the high dominion
of man with ruthless cruelty
so that the voice of the earth,
which should have gone up to You
in song, has been a groan of travail.

May we realize that they live not for
us alone but for You and for
all Your creatures who love
the sweetness of life.
